Shawn first played in his father’s band Magic Slim and the Teardrops (a band that included John Primer) when he was 17 years old. When his dad passed in 2013 (while on tour with Johnny Winter) Shawn took over the band. You could see them at Donnacona or at the Kitchener Blues Festival with a thousand other people or you can see them up close and personal at the RCHA Club in downtown Kingston.
